This Saturday, 10th August 2013, the village of Los Abrigos host their fourth annual summer beer festival located around the picturesque village fishing harbour.The village restaurants and bars, along with some stands outside, will offer a beer and tapas for €1 each between 11am and 11pm, with live music adding to the festival atmosphere.

This year's Las Galletas half marathon gets under way 9am on Sunday 7th April the course goes around El Fraile, Palmar and Guargacho and is 21km long. There is also a shorter race of 10.8km. Next month sees the 50th anniversary of the visit to Tenerife by three members the pop group The Beatles.
