The Spanish Met Office AEMET have issued a yellow alert for the south of Tenerife for rough seas for the next couple of days.

The sea conditions are apparently related to a storm in the mid atlantic which will cause rough seas and higher tides than normal, and could cause dangerous swimming conditions.

As always, adhere to the bathing flag warnings on the beach, and do not enter the sea when the red flag is flying.
