These lovely rural houses located in the hills above La Orotava in north Tenerife are a world away from the bustling tourist resorts on the coasts of the island. Situated 1500 meters above sea level the gardens are peaceful and lush, with nothing but the sound of the birds for company.
This video was taken in the gardens of the four cottages that you can rent individually or as a group in Las Llanadas. All of the houses are decorated in rustic Canarian style, aech with its own terrace and shared BBQ area. Due to the remote location a car is essential and is ideal for couples, familes wanting to get away from it all, or walkers wanting to explore Tenerife's many trails.
