Huricane Humberto Passes Close to Tenerife

There is a possibility that this weekend could be windy and rainy with thunder storms and rough seas as Tenerife feels the effect of hurricane Humberto over the next few days.

The tropical storm has been forming over the last few days and has now been ungraded to hurricane force 1. The storm is currently off the North West coast of the Cape Verde islands and south west of the Canaries.

The storm is not expected to pass directly over the Canary Islands but will be at the very edge of the hurricane.

The storm is expected to move off across the Atlantic where it will in gain strength as it moves towards Bermuda and the US.

 

Update: Humberto has now been down graded to a Post-Tropical Cyclone
