A new service from Newcastle to Tenerife south started earlier this month on 6th November. This new service is being operated two times a week on a Wednesday and Saturday using Airbus A320’s with a capacity of 180 passengers per flight, and an expected 18,000 holiday makers using the new route from the north east to the popular Canary Island this winter.

Tenerife has been repeatedly requested as a route by passengers of easyJet flying from the north east. Flight prices start from £28.49 and are available to book online, booking early will get you the best prices.

The route will operate thought out the winter and will end on the 23rd April 2014. There are also three other carriers currently flying to Tenerife form Newcastle, these being Thomas Cook Airways, Thompson Airways and Jet2, making a total of twelve weekly flights to the island including this new route by easyJet.
