The Beatles visit Tenerife in 1963

This video shows pictures of the visit to Tenerife by 3 members of the pop group The Beatles in 1963 just as they were starting to become famous. It shows them relaxing in the resort of Puerto de la Cruz in the north of Tenerife were they stayed in a friends house.

The town of Puerto de la Cruz is celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles visit to Tenerife starting 25th April, the events planned are going on until the 9th May to coincide exactly with the timing of their visit in 1963.
