Mike Oldfield's Mount Teide

Watch this nice video of Mount Teide set to Mike Oldfield’s music written in tribute to Tenerife’s mountain. The title of the music is simply ‘Mount Teidi’ and was a track on his album titled ‘Five Miles Out’ released in 1982.

The video is a time lapse sequence set on Mount Teide on Tenerife which is the highest peak in the Atlantic Ocean and indeed on Spanish territory, standing at 3718 meters above sea level.

Mike Oldfield is most famous for his album ‘Tubular Bells’, the title track of which was the theme tune to the classic horror film ‘The Exorcist’.
