We Arrive at Santa Cruz de Tenerife

For those interested in accommodation here in Santa Cruz. We are staying in Hotel Nauticol, in a residential area. The decor is modern & funky. We seem to get fairly good prices for hotels (as I thought we would be making camps on the beach!) This may be because we are booking on the internet same day.

This hotel is 50 Euros per night for the two of us with continental breakfast. Our room has TV. All Spanish channels! Suits us, we trying to learn.  A fridge to keep our wine cool (have found cartons of wine for 95 Euros! and its o.k.) Have large walk in shower, bathroom toiletries, hairdryer.

Large balcony that has a funky bright colour table. The hotel has a small Spanish restaurant next door  that offers an evening menu for 8.95 Euros for three courses, we decided to try & can recommend.
