Playa Fañabe Luxury Villa
Last week, our friends who live on the Isle of Bute flew over to Tenerife from Glasgow for a convention for Glasgow Rangers fans in Costa Adeje in south Tenerife.
We took the opportunity to go to Costa Adeje for a couple of nights to catch up, as we hadn't seen them since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
So we needed to find somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. Our friends had booked an apartment in the Playa Fanabe area, so that's where we started to look.
And here's what we found, a very nice villa/apartment in Costa Adeje.
Luxury villa Fañabe with a private garden
We had looked at an apartment in the Royal Sunset Beach Club, but we weren't sure about the place, so we looked for something else. We stumbled across this lovely-looking privately owned Luxury villa Fañabe with a private garden right next door with great guest reviews, so we booked this instead.
Lounge and kitchen area
From the photos, this apartment looked very well equipped compared to other apartments available, with modern furniture and a large outdoor garden. We arrived a little early, and entering the apartment didn't disappoint.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, bright, and airy and had the bonus of having air conditioning in the lounge and the bedroom. The furniture was modern, new, and clean. The owners also very kindly left us a complimentary bottle of wine and a bottle of water.
The bedroom was a pleasure to sleep in and had its patio doors open directly onto the garden terrace. The garden had a chillout area with garden chairs and sofas, an outdoor dining area with a dining table and chairs, and an outdoor Bali bed to relax on.
Garden dining and chill out
The lounge had a new retro-style sofa bed that was comfy to sit on, a funky coffee table, a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, and direct access to the garden through large patio doors.
The bathroom was modern and clean, with a walk-in shower, a glass enclosure, a gold-coloured overhead shower, and a handheld mixer.
The apartment had an open-plan, American-style kitchen with everything you need, including a dishwasher so you don't have to do the washing up and a washing machine.

What's near by?
A few meters from the apartment complex's main entrance are shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants.
Playa Fañbe Beach, a safe sandy beach with many bars and restaurants, is about a 10-minute walk away.
The holiday complex itself has swimming pools, a cafe bar and evening entertainment.

Recommendation
The apartment was of an excellent standard, well equipped, reasonably priced, and in a good location close to the beach and all amenities.
