Tenerfie Storm, Fred Olsen Cancel all Services

Fred Olsen has cancelled all operations in the Canary Island due to the storm that is affecting the islands. The port of Los Cristianos has been closed as it is impossible to operate normally.

The storm has been raging since yesterday at noon, and weather conditions are very adverse, causing delays and cancellations to all services. Sea and wind conditions have worsened throughout today, and at this time the port of Los Cristianos is difficult to operate from. Also the sea conditions are significantly affecting all routes between Los Cristianos – La Palma and Tenerife – Gran Canaria.

Based on the forecast for tomorrow Fred Olsen Lines has stated its intention to operate the following schedule from Tenerife starting tomorrow
Tenerife – La Gomera: Los Cristianos to San Sebastian at 09:00 and continue normal operations.
Tenerife – Gran Canaria: Departure at 07:30 from the port of Santa Cruz.
Tenerife – La Palma: Departing Los Cristianos 19:00 and continue normal operations.
