Puerto de la Cruz

Here in Puerto de la Cruz staying in Hotel Marquesa in the centre of the old town, opposite a busy square and the main church. Nice feeling as bells ring every 15 minutes, stops around 11.00pm. Restaurant prices vary (A nice part of our work is to try the different ones!) Had a good meal in a top end restaurant, we were really looked after, not hassled to go in either! Had garlic prawns, steaks, good wine, & wonderful dessert, finished with honey rum on the house. Cost 50 Euros. Another eve we went to a pizzeria. Food and service good, had pizza, wine, and two very strong liquor coffees.  Cost 23 Euros. The picture below of the girl (in white) who is in fact working! Is just one of many street Artists here, she was my favourite. It was working out how she was apparently sitting on thin air! Other picture is taken from a view point here in Parque Taoro. Worth a visit as when the clouds clear you can see the peak of Mount Teide with snow on.
