La Laguna

Spent two days in La Laguna, typical Spanish town. Tourism is not encouraged, so we had to speak Spanish. La Laguna is an old town in the Mountains. Sunny during the day, very chilly at night. I did not bring too many warm clothes! Decided to leave the woolly knickers behind in England! The wind is howling keeping us awake!

Staying at a very different Hotel, it used to be a Bishops Palace. Our room is decorated in an old fashioned style. There are the Original wood floorboards .The window in our room has wooden shutters, and overlooks the street below. Hope we will not wake in middle of night to find a monk standing at the bottom of our bed!

The picture of me with a carriage is at the museum.

We did a Tapas bar hop! Had a little booklet, this told us the bars and restaurant’s to visit, that were doing a tapa and glass of wine for a couple of Euros. There was a Good atmosphere as La Laguna has a university, so the town was bussing.

Enjoyed the stay here, and Pete enjoyed the Lumumba’s!
