La Laguna and the Gypsy Curse

We took a bus today up to La Laguna, which is the oldest settlement on the Island. There is a lot of history there, but not many tourists visit. We really liked it there, and have booked to stay next week.

However after my visit I do feel a bit frightened! I will explain – we found a small bohemian café, and sat outside with some drinks and a snack of Hummus. When I saw this old man walking down the street, he did not exactly blend in.

Dressed in bright colour clothes with a long grey beard, holding a walking stick decorated with bells and trinkets. He looked like Aladdin! I turned to Pete and quietly said look what is walking by. But he heard me! He definitely gave me the evil eye! While muttering some strange words and pointing a long bony finger at me!

We feel sure he was a gipsy, and has put a curse on me……………
