It’s Sunday eve, and the Spanish have gone mad here in [Tenerife](http://etenerifeholidays.co.uk/).  We have been sitting outside this evening watching the football; Spain won. Now back in the Hotel room we can hear all the car horns blaring in celebration.  We happen to be in Puerto de la Cruz at a really busy time, as it is also their festival time. Before we went to watch the football, we saw a religious festival leaving the small church here on the seafront. This involved some Spanish dressed in bright clothes and dancing, followed by men carrying a large statue of one of San Telmo through the streets.

By the sound of the noise outside I’m not sure how much sleep we will get! No matter as I have been asleep most of today!

I have been bitten again! They don’t touch Pete at all. Unless I cover myself in Deet they get me!
