A Night Out in Las Americas

Last night we decided to try a night out in Las Americas. Took a taxi from our hotel as it is a bit of a walk into the heart of the town plus had to take into consideration my high heels! Taxi cost around six euros and we asked to be dropped in the centre of town.

Have put some photos up to give an idea of night time in Las Americas. I liked it, is glitzy but not in a tacky way. It is clean and has very nice shops.

We walked down to the seafront away from the main street and found a very nice café restaurant on the front called Café Del Parque. Here we had a good meal, and listened to the waves.

Walked back along the main street and found a great late night cocktail bar. This had live music, a singer and some dancers, and Jane & Pete trying the cocktails.

As a result I am busy today trying to sort out where we will next stay, while Pete seems to be very quiet!

Placio de Congresos Las Americas Tenerife

There are different areas to Las Americas and if you know where to go you can have a great time. I can see there has been a big clean-up act here in the South, and there are some very up market places to stay, eat and go out to we have enjoyed and leave tomorrow.
