Tenerife Forest Fire Roads Reopen

Two roads that were closed by the Council of Tenerife because of the forest fires in north Tenerife, have now been opened. The TF-82 and TF-436 were opened at noon today, and the TF-373 was reopened last night.

The 250 residents of Erjos, Masca and Carrizales who were evacuated have started to return to there homes. Also the Titsa bus services route 460 between Icod de los Vinos and Costa Adeje and the route 325 between Puerto de la Cruz and Los Gigantes have been resumed.

Although the fire is now under control the forest and trails in the area are closed.
