Los Gigantes Tenerife Review

Los Gigantes Tenerife is dominated by the huge cliffs that give the town its name, and soar to 600 meters above the beach. These giant cliffs are the foot of the Teno Mountains that cover the north western area of Tenerife.

Los Gigantes has now effectively merged with its neighbours of Puerto de Santiago and Playa del Arena. The resort is very hilly and is therefore not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Los Gigantes focal point is the marina where there are berths for 440 boats. The marina is lined with a variety of restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner overlooking the sea. Right by the marina is the resorts small black sand beach which is safe for children and not normally crowded.

Los Gigantes is a low key upmarket resort and although it is quite small there are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars.

Los Gigantes is a very attractive resort the resorts buildings are all low rise with exception of one high rise hotel. The resort is upmarket and will appeal to families and couples. The roads are very narrow hilly and winding. This part of Tenerife has the most sunshine of any other part of the island.
